Been using OpenClaw's free tier for six months. Just ran the numbers and I'm pretty sure we've already spent more on internal workarounds than the paid plan would have cost.
The "free" version needs a separate logging tool, manual data syncs, and support is forum-only. My devs spend hours each week on maintenance scripts and glue code. That's salary time. The paid version includes monitoring, automated exports, and actual support tickets.
Has anyone else done a real TCO comparison on this? I'm looking at our time logs and the math is brutal. The paid version's fixed cost might actually be cheaper when you factor in all the hidden labor.
