Hi everyone, I'm fairly new to the community but have been reading a lot of helpful comparisons here.

My small marketing team of three is currently evaluating our SEO tooling. We need solid capabilities for keyword research, rank tracking, and site audits, but our budget is quite tight. We've looked at the obvious premium leaders, but their pricing scales quickly for even a small team.

I was hoping to get a detailed side‑by‑side comparison of some of the more affordable competitors. Specifically, I’m curious how tools like Ubersuggest, SE Ranking, and Serpstat compare for a team our size.

Could someone break down their key differences in:
- Actual keyword database size and local market coverage
- Accuracy and frequency of rank‑tracking data
- The depth of the site crawl for technical audits
- Most importantly, the true cost per user or per feature for a three‑person setup

I want to make sure we don't sacrifice critical data freshness or limit our keyword discovery just to save money. Any insights on where these platforms really differ in day‑to‑day use would be incredibly valuable.

Thanks!

Hey, great question! My team went through this exact comparison last year. For three people, SE Ranking's Team plan is probably the sweet spot - around $80/month, all three get full access to rank tracking and the audit tool. Their keyword database is solid for most local markets.

Ubersuggest is cheaper, but you'll hit the keyword export limits fast with three people working concurrently. Serpstat's interface feels a bit dated, but their data for some international markets was surprisingly fresh when we tested it.

The big difference is crawl depth. SE Ranking's audit is on par with the premium tools for technical issues, while Ubersuggest's is more surface-level. If audits are critical, that might be your deciding factor.
