Hello everyone,

I’m currently evaluating SAST tools for my team, and I’ve narrowed the initial selection down to Veracode and Apiiro. I’ve read through some documentation and trial materials, but I’m hoping to get real-world feedback from this community.

My primary concern is false positive rates. In past projects, we’ve struggled with tools that flood us with low-priority findings, which wastes a lot of triage time. I understand both platforms have different approaches—Veracode with its traditional scanning and Apiiro with its added context from the development pipeline.

Could anyone share their experiences comparing the two, specifically on false positives? I’m particularly interested in:

* How each tool handles common languages like Java and JavaScript in a monorepo setup.
* Whether Apiiro’s risk-based contextual analysis actually translates to a noticeably cleaner results list.
* Any benchmarks or internal metrics you’ve gathered on precision.

We’re a mid-sized team, so tuning and maintenance effort is a significant factor for us.

Thanks!
