Our migration team executed a "clean" cutover from the old CRM to Pipedrive last weekend. Vendor assured us their Claw-Pipedrive sync tool handles deduplication.
Now we have duplicate contacts for a significant portion of our records. The sync is running on a schedule post-cutover.
* The duplicates appear to be the old record *and* a new record created by the sync.
* Vendor support says to "use the merge function" and blames our data.
* Their documentation on the deduplication key is vague.
What was the actual deduplication logic promised? Did they match on email, external ID, or a custom field?
Need to see:
* The exact configuration for the contact sync object.
* Any pre-cutover deduplication audit they claimed to perform.
This is costing us operational integrity. How did others enforce the SLA on data fidelity during migration?
