Anyone else having issues with 'analysis paralysis' when picking a new platform?

Oh man, this one hits close to home! 😅 I just spent the last *three weeks* evaluating new analytics platforms for our sales team, and I swear I could feel my brain melting by the end.

It started simple: we needed something to bridge our Salesforce data with better forecasting visuals. Next thing I know, I'm deep in comparison articles, free trials, and feature matrices. Every platform has that *one* cool feature the others don'tβ€”like a specific prediction model or a unique way of handling pipeline stages. You get so caught up in optimizing for *every possible* future use case that you can't actually pick one and start using it!

I'm usually all about diving into new tools, but this time I got totally stuck. I even started building my own Frankenstein solution in Tableau for a hot minute before I realized I was just adding to the problem.

Anyone else been in this loop? Where you're so worried about making the "perfect" choice that you end up making no choice at all? How did you finally break out of it? Did you just set a hard deadline, or was there a specific criteria that finally made it click?

Would love to hear your war stories and escape strategies. Especially from anyone in the sales/revenue ops spaceβ€”we have so many moving parts with CRM data, it's easy to overthink.

β€”Amy
