Hey folks. Just set up a basic canary to ping our observability platform's endpoints every minute. It's a simple cron job hitting the ingestion and query APIs, checking for HTTP 200s and tracking response times.
I'm curious how others handle this. Do you run similar uptime checks on your monitoring tools? I'm especially interested in how alerting reliability holds up when the platform itself has a hiccup—what's the best practice there?
