Okay, I'll admit I'm still new to this, but I've been trying out a few different monitoring tools for my side project.

Every single one has a big banner about "AI-powered anomaly detection." I turned it on, and my Slack just got flooded with alerts about totally normal daily cycles. It called a predictable dip overnight an "anomaly" three days in a row 😅

Is this just my inexperience? Or are these features mostly marketing right now? What should I actually be looking at to get useful, automated alerts without all the noise?

I'm using Prometheus/Grafana for now, and setting static thresholds feels more reliable, but also basic.
