Another week, another layer of abstraction. Built an operator to sync ConfigMaps and Secrets between Rancher projects because, of course, that's not a native feature.
Seems like every "enterprise" platform conveniently omits the simple stuff to lock you into their entire toolchain. Now I'm wondering how many others have had to build or buy this basic capability. What's the real operational cost of these "managed" experiences when you spend cycles writing glue code?
