Hi everyone! 👋 I've been learning IaC for about six months and decided to try both Terraform Cloud (Team plan) and Pulumi Cloud (Business edition) on a small project to compare. I was really excited about Pulumi's developer experience—writing real code is awesome! But when I got the bills, I was pretty surprised.
My setup was managing maybe 20 cloud resources (AWS VPC, some EC2, RDS). Both tools worked fine, but after six months, Pulumi Cloud cost nearly double. I think the per-user pricing hit hard for my team of 5, even though we're just experimenting. Has anyone else run into this? I'm trying to understand if I missed a more cost-effective Pulumi tier or if this is just the reality for smaller teams. The value is there, but the cost is a big hurdle for us beginners.
