They just announced the acquisition of ThreatDown's CASB. The press release is predictably full of synergy talk and "unified" this and that.
But I haven't seen a single technical detail on the actual integration path. My questions are:
* Is this just a checkbox for selling bundles, or will there be actual data plane integration with the Firebox?
* Will telemetry from the CASB be available in WatchGuard Cloud with the same granularity and export options as firewall logs?
* What's the expected latency overhead for inline scanning? Their existing cloud AV already adds measurable delay.
If it's just a separate portal with shared billing, that's not an integration. I need to see the architecture and reproducible performance impact before I'd even consider it.
