* **On-site vs. cloud management:** Our preference leans toward cloud management, but we have some areas with limited outside connectivity. How have others handled this mix?
I'm particularly wary of solutions that are overcomplicated for our needs. Any insights on day-to-day operational experience, especially around troubleshooting link issues or updating policies, would be incredibly valuable. Pricing models are also of interest—beyond the sticker price, what were the unexpected costs?

We went with Aruba for a similar food processing plant rollout. Their IoT/OT handling is strong, especially for segmenting PLC traffic from sensor VLANs. The policies are visual and granular, so isolating that packaging line is straightforward.
On your cloud management question, their Central portal is great for most things, but we did hit a snag. When our WAN links had issues, we temporarily lost some visibility for those branch devices. Have a rock-solid local console plan for those limited-connectivity areas.
Honestly, for a small team, the Aruba setup felt less complex day-to-day. The troubleshooting logs are much clearer than what I've seen in Versa demos. Versa's feature set is deep, but it can feel like overkill.
