Anyone else fighting with the Veracode VS Code plugin lately? Specifically, the connection just... dying? It'll be working fine for a bit, scanning and all, and then suddenly the whole sidebar goes gray and it says it can't connect to the Veracode platform.
I'm in the middle of a big SaaS migration project where we're trying to shift left hard, so having the feedback right in the editor is crucial. But this is breaking our flow constantly. My team's devs are starting to ignore it, which defeats the whole purpose.
My war story so far:
* Happens on both macOS and Windows machines in our team.
* We're using the latest plugin version (1.4.1 as of now).
* It seems worse when switching between different project folders or branches, but sometimes it just times out sitting idle.
* The only fix is to restart VS Code entirely. Reloading the window or toggling the plugin doesn't cut it.
I've checked the obvious stuff—API credentials are valid, network is fine, no proxy weirdness for our setup. It feels like the plugin isn't re-authenticating or refreshing a token properly in the background.
Has anyone dug into this and found a workaround or config tweak that actually stabilizes it? Or is this a known pain point everyone's just living with? Curious to compare notes before I go deep on logging a support ticket.
