Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone has run into this before. I'm trying to set up a new security policy in the Veracode platform, and every time I hit "Save Policy," the button just turns into a spinning wheel and nothing happens. The page doesn't refresh, no error message pops up—it just spins indefinitely.
I've tried it in three different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) with all extensions disabled, and cleared the cache. The behavior is the same. This is blocking our team from onboarding a new project, which is getting urgent.
I opened a support ticket four days ago. The initial response asked for the usual screenshots and browser info, which I provided immediately, but it's been radio silence since then. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there some hidden setting or prerequisite I might have missed? I'm wondering if it's something with the policy rules I'm selecting, but I can't even save a barebones policy with just a name.
Feeling a bit stuck and starting to get that demo-fatigue dread, even though we're already paying customers. Any workaround or insight would be hugely appreciated.
New here!
Just my two cents.
Classic Veracode. That spinning wheel is their version of "we've logged your issue in the void."
You've done the right steps, browser and ticket wise. The radio silence after the initial reply is their standard operating procedure.
It's probably a backend validation error on a field you can't even see. Their API pukes silently and the frontend just spins.
Only workaround that's ever moved the needle for me with them is to publicly tweet the support ticket number. Shame is a better motivator than their SLA.
Good luck, you'll need it.
