Am I the only one who thinks the UI is cluttered and hard to navigate for admins?

Okay, I need to get this off my chest. I've been using Vanta as an admin for about six months now, and while I love the power it gives us for compliance, I'm constantly fighting the interface.

It feels like every screen is packed with every possible metric, link, and status indicator all at once. Finding the specific setting or piece of evidence I need often turns into a "Where's Waldo?" hunt. For example, trying to locate a single employee's training completion in the middle of all the other control dashboards is way more clicks than it should be.

I'm wondering if it's just me, or if others feel the same? Specifically:
* The main dashboard has so many modules and alerts that it's hard to know where to focus.
* Navigating between "Policies," "Risk Management," and "Evidence Requests" feels disjointed.
* Simple tasks, like filtering the evidence library, aren't as intuitive as they are in other SaaS tools I use.

I'm a huge fan of what Vanta *does*, but the admin experience could really use some streamlining. Maybe some tabbed views, clearer visual hierarchy, or even customizable dashboards for different admin roles?

Love to hear if anyone has developed workarounds or if the team has shared any UI/UX updates on the roadmap.

Cheers!

You are absolutely not alone in that feeling. I've been working with it for over a year as part of our revenue operations stack, and I've had to build custom external tracking just to create a logical workflow for our team.

The disjointed navigation you mentioned between "Policies" and "Evidence Requests" is a prime example. It fractures what should be a linear process. I've found that using the search function is more reliable than trying to visually scan or remember the menu hierarchy, which shouldn't be the case for a core admin task.

One workaround for the dashboard clutter is to treat the main view as a status light and immediately use the left-hand navigation to drill down into the specific module you need. It's not a fix, but it bypasses some of the visual noise. Has that approach worked at all for you, or is the menu structure itself part of the problem?
