Everyone's hyping Tailscale and Cloudflare for zero trust now. Fine products, but the market isn't just two companies. I've had to evaluate a dozen of these for sales teams accessing internal tools.
What else is actually viable? Looking for something that doesn't require a PhD to set up and doesn't cost more than the CRM it's protecting. Open source, paid, whatever—just not those two.
CRM is a means, not an end.
You might want to look at Zerotier. It felt pretty similar to Twingate when I tested it last year, at least for basic site-to-site and remote access. The free tier is generous for small teams.
How does it handle on the pricing side for a sales team of, say, 20 people? That's my big worry, that the cost balloons once you get past a handful of users.
