We're consolidating our compliance tooling and moving away from Tugboat Logic. The new platform has its own framework mapping.
Problem: We need to retire an old, outdated control framework in Tugboat, but the legal team insists we keep evidence and audit history for those controls for another 3 years for external audits.
Has anyone done this cleanly? The obvious ways seem to have big downsides:
* Just inactivating the controls scatters them and makes reporting messy.
* Exporting everything to PDF/Excel loses granularity and links.
* Keeping the whole framework active pollutes the working space.
I'm looking for a method that:
* Archives the framework and its linked evidence.
* Removes it from active lists and mappings.
* Allows historical lookup if absolutely needed.
Is there a native archive function, or did you have to get creative with tags/exports?
