We're finally getting budget to upgrade our EDR/XDR, and I've been tasked with doing a preliminary comparison. Our environment is about 500 users, mostly cloud (AWS) with some on-prem legacy servers. We're also in the middle of a big Kubernetes rollout.

I know both Vision One and CrowdStrike Falcon are top contenders. From a practical day-to-day perspective, I'm curious about a few specific things:

* For those who've managed both, how does the alert fatigue compare? We're a small team and need high-fidelity alerts.
* How is the Kubernetes runtime security integration in each? Does one feel more native or easier to manage?
* Any major surprises with the pricing model at our scale? We're trying to avoid sticker shock after year one.

Our main goals are better cloud workload protection and consolidating tools. Any hands-on experience would be really helpful.
