We're evaluating Sprinto for our SOC 2. The Azure AD connector is a core requirement for user access reviews.
Our setup fails to sync users consistently. It pulls maybe 60% of the directory, then stops. No clear error in the logs, just "sync completed." Support's suggestions (check API permissions, re-authenticate) haven't worked. This is a blocker.
Is this a known issue? Has anyone found a reliable config or workaround? We're on the enterprise plan.
Ugh, that sounds exactly like the problem we hit last quarter. The "sync completed" with no error was the most frustrating part.
For us, it wasn't about API permissions globally, but a specific group membership rule that was causing a silent choke. The connector would just stop processing when it hit that rule. Our workaround was to run a sync scoped to a single, simple test group first to confirm it could work, then gradually add complexity. It pointed us to the problematic filter.
If you're on Enterprise, push them to escalate the ticket. You need engineering to look at the diagnostic logs on their side, not just the user-facing ones. This shouldn't be your puzzle to solve. Good luck with the SOC 2 timeline
