Okay, so I’ve been using our new Sophos XGS for a few months now. I mostly handle the reporting and dashboard side of things for our team, so I'm in the Web Admin UI pretty often to pull logs or check policies.
I keep seeing people talk about how much faster and better the new UI is compared to the old XG... and yeah, it looks nicer. But honestly, I'm finding it still feels sluggish? Like, clicking between sections—say, from "Protection" to "Logs & Reports"—sometimes has this noticeable delay. Even filtering events or searching logs feels like it takes longer to render than I'd expect.
I'm on a decent connection and my machine isn't old. Is this just me? Maybe our box is underpowered? Or are others also experiencing this? I love the features, but for quick checks or when I'm building a report, the lag adds up and gets a bit frustrating.
Yeah I've noticed that too, especially when pulling logs. It's like there's a half-second pause before anything moves. My team lead says it's normal for "feature-rich interfaces" but I dunno, feels like it could be snappier. Maybe it's the amount of data it's trying to load at once?
