SonarQube or Qodana for JetBrains-heavy shop? Performance & accuracy compared

Hi everyone, new here! I work at a small marketing tech team, but we're expanding into more dev work, especially with our website and tools. Our devs all use JetBrains IDEs.

We're looking at adding a code quality tool. I keep seeing SonarQube and Qodana mentioned. Since we're already in the JetBrains ecosystem, Qodana seems like a natural fit.

But I'm getting lost in all the feature lists. For a team that lives in IntelliJ IDEA and PyCharm, which one actually performs better and gives more accurate results? I care about real issues, not just noise. I hear SonarQube can be heavy to run.

Just trying to understand the practical day-to-day difference for a JetBrains-heavy shop. Thanks for any insights! 😅
