We're starting to build out SOAR playbooks for our team, focusing on common alert types. The idea of testing them makes me nervous. What if a "test" accidentally quarantines a real server or sends a notification to a customer?
I've heard about using dry-run modes or isolated sandboxes. For those of you who have been doing this a while, what's the most reliable method? Specifically, how do you handle playbooks that integrate with external systems like ticketing or cloud consoles?
