Just finished a 30-day PoC with Rapid7 InsightIDR. I was hoping it would be a good fit for our SaaS company (around 50 people, mostly cloud), but I’m kinda disappointed.
The out-of-the-box detection rate for our environment wasn’t great. We still saw a lot of weird activity that we had to find ourselves. I expected more automated findings, I guess? 😕
Has anyone else had this experience? How much custom detection engineering did you have to add to make it valuable? Also, the cloud data ingestion seemed... expensive for what we got.
