Hi everyone, new here 👋 We’re a 50-person startup, all-in on AWS, and we’ve outgrown basic CSPM tools. Need something more robust.
Looking at Palo Alto Prisma Cloud and Wiz. Our main needs are:
- Getting visibility into cloud misconfigurations and vulnerabilities without drowning in alerts.
- Something that integrates well with our existing CI/CD and Slack for alerts.
- Must be relatively hands-off—our security team is basically one engineer right now.
I hear Wiz is super fast to deploy and has great agentless scanning. But Prisma Cloud seems deeper with runtime protection and network security modeling, which feels like a bigger commitment.
Anyone been in this position? Is Prisma overkill for a startup our size, or is the extra coverage worth the steeper learning curve? Budget is a concern, but so is avoiding a big breach. 😅
Real-world experiences with either (or both) in a similar environment would be super helpful.
