I'm starting to explore PingFederate at work, specifically how to connect it to our internal CRM system. The out-of-the-box adapters don't quite fit our use case, so I need to build a simple custom connector.
Can someone walk through the basic steps? I'm particularly fuzzy on the part where you define the authentication source and map the attributes. What does a minimal, working configuration look like? I'm coming from a background in marketing automation platforms, so the identity side is new to me.
