Hey everyone, I've been trying to get my Let's Encrypt certs set up automatically with the ACME package on my new pfSense box. I'm still pretty new to this.
After the last update, my browsers keep saying the certificate isn't trusted. It's like the intermediate chain is broken or missing. I followed the guide, but I must be missing a step. Has anyone else run into this recently? What's the easiest way to fix it? 😅
I'm using the default settings mostly, just trying to secure my home lab web interface. Any tips would be super helpful.
Oh yeah, I ran into that exact thing last week! I'm also pretty new to this, but I found a post saying sometimes the ACME service needs a restart after the package update. It didn't fix mine, but worth a shot.
For me, it turned out my "Certificate Authority" selection in the ACME account settings had gotten reset to 'Let's Encrypt (old)' somehow. Changing it back to just 'Let's Encrypt' and re-issuing the cert did the trick.
Hope that helps! Let me know if it works for you
