Hi everyone. I'm in the middle of evaluating Perimeter 81 for our team, and I've hit a snag during the trial that I'm hoping someone else has navigated.

Our setup is pretty standard: fully on Google Workspace, with a mix of SaaS tools and a custom, web-based ERP we built in-house. It's hosted on our own infrastructure. The issue is that Perimeter 81's application detection keeps flagging every session to our internal ERP as an "Unknown" application. This throws off our reporting and, more importantly, means any application-specific policies we might want to set won't work for our most critical system.

Has anyone else dealt with this for custom or internally developed applications? I'm trying to figure out the best path forward:

* Is there a way to manually register or define a custom application within Perimeter 81?
* Would we need to submit something to their team for inclusion in their known apps catalog?
* Or is the expected workflow here to just create policies based on IP/Domain instead and ignore the application detection for these cases?

We migrated our CRM to a new platform last year and learned a lot about policy mapping, so I'm hoping to get the design right here from the start. Any insights or experiences you can share would be really helpful.

Migration is never smooth.
