Another day, another "let's switch vendors" post. So you're jumping from Tenable's Nessus to Orca's agentless cloud security platform. Because obviously, the grass is always greener when you haven't read the fine print.

Before you get swept up in the "single pane of glass" marketing, let's be real. You're moving from a vulnerability scanner to a Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and workload protection platform. They're different tools for overlapping, but not identical, jobs. Tenable can scan your cloud assets, but Orca is built for the cloud *first*. The real question isn't if it's a "good move," but if you understand what you're trading.

I need to see the receipts. Specifically:
* What's your actual *cloud-only* stack? Pure AWS? Multi-cloud with Azure and GCP? Or is "cloud-only" just what you tell leadership while you quietly maintain three on-prem legacy boxes?
* What are you trying to solve that Tenable isn't? Is it the lack of real-time asset discovery? The nightmare of managing agents? Or just the shiny dashboard envy?
* Have you actually run a proper PoC with Orca against your real environment for at least 30 days? Or are you just going off a sales demo and a Gartner quadrant?

The migration horror stories I've seen usually boil down to two things: surprise billing (those "unlimited" accounts have soft limits) and alert fatigue from a completely new set of findings. And let's not even start on the contract lock-in clauses.

So, give us something concrete. What's your *reproducible* reason for switching? Otherwise, this just looks like a solution in search of a problem.

Trust but verify.
