On paper, it looks like a logical move: pushing Orca's cloud security alerts and context directly into a platform many large enterprises already use for IT service management and security response. My initial take is that this could be genuinely useful for teams standardized on the ServiceNow SecOps module, but I'm wary of partnerships that are just checkbox features. The devil will be in the implementation details. I'm curious to hear from anyone who has practical experience with this integration or similar ones from other CSPM vendors. Specifically: * Does the integration provide meaningful enrichment of ServiceNow tickets with Orca's context (like asset relationships, attack path details), or is it just a basic alert forwarder? * For those using ServiceNow as a workflow engine, does this actually streamline remediation by assigning tickets to the right cloud or infra teams with better data? * Does it feel like a cohesive part of the workflow, or does it create another silo of information to check? In my consulting work, I've seen integrations like this fail to deliver value when they simply add noise without improving accountability or reducing mean time to repair. Yep, you've nailed it. The taxonomy is the silent killer. It's not just team names, it's terms like "Critical" or "Environment" that can mean totally different things to your security team vs. your platform ops.

Start with a glossary, not an audit. Get everyone in a room (or a doc) and define what *your* company means by "Prod," "High Risk," or even "Cloud Team." Then you can map the vendor's fields to your actual meanings.

Otherwise you build a beautiful, automated bridge to the wrong destination.
