Everyone's obsessed with feature checklists, but let's talk about what actually matters: speed and user bail rates. Both of these banners are bloated legal theater.
I ran a simple test on a staging site. OneTrust's default script added ~400ms to LCP on a decent connection. Osano was slightly better, but still blocked rendering. As for conversion? If by "convert" you mean "get people to blindly click accept," they're both "effective." If you mean actual informed consent, they're equally terrible. The banners annoy users into submission, which I guess is the point.
