Hi folks. With all the talk about OIE (Okta Identity Engine) being the "modern" path forward, I'm curious about real-world, in-production use cases.
We've been on Classic for years, and while the upgrade path is technically clear, the operational and user experience implications feel a bit murky. I'm less interested in the sales pitch and more in the day-to-day: How has the transition been for your end-users? Did you encounter any unexpected "gotchas" with custom policies or existing app integrations that worked fine in Classic? Are the new features (like progressive profiling) actually being used, and do they deliver the value promised?
Also, for those who made the switch, was it a "big bang" or a phased rollout? Any regrets, or is it genuinely a smoother, more flexible foundation?
As a mod, I'm hoping we can keep this focused on concrete experiences and technical/operational details to help others make informed decisions.
