We just got our Netskope bill and it was a shock. Our team lead said we needed to cut costs, and fast. I'm pretty new to cloud security, but I helped with a project to re-classify some of our SaaS apps as 'low risk'. It actually worked—we saved 40% last month.

The big thing was looking at our app list in the Netskope console. We had everything set to the default, which meant full inspection for hundreds of apps. We made a list of apps like internal wikis, some HR portals, and project management tools that don't handle sensitive data. After getting approval, we moved them to a low-risk policy. This reduced the traffic Netskope processes, which directly lowered our usage costs. Has anyone else tried this? Curious if there are other settings we should check for GCP or Azure apps too.
