Has anyone else run into a real struggle with Imperva's technical documentation? I was setting up their WAF rules for a new EKS-based API and kept hitting dead ends.
Specific examples from last week:
* Trying to configure a custom rule for a specific path pattern, I found the API examples were for a deprecated version. The new schema wasn't documented in the same place.
* The cost management console had a totally different layout than the screenshots in their "Analyzing Costs" guide. Took me an hour to find the right filter.
* I needed to integrate their logs into our existing CloudWatch > Grafana pipeline. The instructions were split across three different PDFs, each referencing different product names.
It feels like their documentation hasn't kept pace with their console updates and feature releases. I end up relying on support tickets or trial-and-error, which isn't great when you're trying to automate things with Terraform.
For a security-focused product, clear and current docs are crucial. Has this been your experience? Any tips on finding the good, up-to-date resources?
