Everyone will tell you to pick based on features. They're wrong. Pick based on cost and how it integrates with your AWS bill.
For a 5-engineer team, you need the real numbers.
* What's the egress per engineer? This dictates the data processing cost.
* Do you need full tunnel or split? This changes the instance sizing.
* Are you deploying their virtual appliance in your VPC? That's EC2 costs plus their license.
* Or using their SaaS? That's a per-user subscription plus potential egress fees.
Netskope's model can get expensive fast with heavy cloud-to-internet traffic. iboss often pushes you towards their hardware or heavy VMs.
Before you even look at features, answer this:
* What's your current monthly AWS data transfer cost to the internet?
* Are your engineers mostly accessing AWS services or external SaaS?
Without those numbers, any recommendation is just guessing with your money.
