Okay, I have to vent about this because it's driving my entire security team crazy and wrecking our workflow. Every single time we have to reboot our QRadar console—whether it's for a patch or an unexpected hiccup—the license manager service just decides to take an extended vacation. It either fails to start automatically or throws a cryptic error about not being able to validate.
We end up manually SSH-ing in, running the old `sudo /etc/init.d/license-manager restart` dance, and sometimes even that doesn't stick. It feels like we're playing whack-a-mole with a core component that should just work. We've checked the typical culprits: hostnames, DNS, the license file itself... all seems correct. The logs aren't exactly UX-friendly, either.
Is this just us? I'm curious if others in the community have run into this same instability and, more importantly, if you've found a reliable fix. Our devs are getting frustrated because it delays testing new dashboard configurations, and I'm stuck in the middle trying to keep the design-to-deployment pipeline smooth.
