The core issue is login time. With Thycotic, an agent could authenticate and pull a customer's record in under 10 seconds. Now, with Delinea's workflow for checking out a credential, we're consistently looking at 20-25 seconds per login event. Multiply that by 50+ logins per day per agent, and you've built a significant productivity sink.
Here's what the new process looks like:
* The Delinea web interface loads slower on our standard-issue laptops.
* The required approval step for certain roles (which we also had before) now adds a 3-5 second delay for the approval notification to even appear in the approver's queue.
* Session launch seems to hang intermittently, requiring a page refresh.
We followed Delinea's recommended setup to the letter. The slowdown isn't a configuration error—it's the product's performance under our actual load. We traded a slightly dated interface that *worked* for a shiny one that doesn't.
