Hi everyone! I'm new here and hoping to get some advice from people who actually use this stuff day-to-day. I'm helping my team (we're a SaaS company, around 500 people) evaluate identity platforms, and we've narrowed it down to Glide Identity and Linx Security.
We're coming from a pretty messy situation with just local accounts and a couple of separate SSO connections. We need proper SSO, MFA for everyone, and maybe some basic directory management. Our main apps are the usual suspects: Salesforce, a bunch of Google Workspace, Slack, and our own internal tools.
I've been through the sales demos for both Glide and Linx, and on paper they look similar for our needs. But I'm having a really hard time figuring out the *practical* differences that would matter for a team our size.
Some specific things I'm wondering about:
* How steep is the learning curve for the admin team? We don't have a dedicated IAM person.
* Which one handles role-based access for our internal web apps more smoothly?
* Any gotchas with the pricing models when you hit around 500 users?
The sales reps are, of course, saying their product is perfect for us 😅. I'd love to hear from anyone who's implemented either one, especially at a similar sized company. What was the rollout like? Did you hit any unexpected snags?
Thanks in advance for any insights! 🙏
