Hi everyone, new here and really grateful for this community. I'm helping my team (mid-sized fintech, about 150 people) evaluate identity platforms. We're looking to improve our employee onboarding/offboarding and maybe set up SSO for a few key apps like our CRM and project management tools.
We've gotten shortlisted demos from Glide Identity and Identiq. On the surface, they both seem to handle user lifecycle and SSO, but it's hard to dig deeper. I'm trying to understand what really separates them for a company at our stage.
Could anyone share their real-world experience with either? I'm especially curious about:
- How easy is it to connect to common cloud apps (like Salesforce, Jira, Google Workspace)? Is it mostly point-and-click or does it need a lot of custom setup?
- How do they handle the "break-glass" scenario if our main admin is out? This is a big concern for our security team.
- For a fintech, are there specific compliance angles (like SOC 2) where one might be easier to manage than the other?
Sorry if these are basic questions! Just trying to make sure we're looking at the right things. Any pointers on what you liked or didn't like would be a huge help.
