Hey everyone, new here but I've been managing FortiGate firewalls for a few clients over the last year and a half. Coming from a project management background, I really value tools that make workflows clearer.

Honestly, the initial setup and policy management feels a bit overwhelming compared to something like Jira for tracking. The dashboard is powerful, but the learning curve hit my team hard during onboarding. What would you all recommend to streamline admin tasks and reporting? I'd love to hear how others handle the day-to-day, especially for managing multiple client setups. 😅

Totally agree about the learning curve! I'm pretty new to FortiGate myself. Have you looked into their FortiManager at all? It's a pain to set up, but it helps with managing policies across multiple devices once it's running. Saved me some headaches after the initial hump.

What kind of reporting are you needing? I've been using the built-in reports for basic stuff for clients, but I'm curious if there's a better way too.
