Hey folks, I just got off a call with a Delinea sales rep and they followed up with that detailed competitor comparison PDF. You know the one—stacked feature table, green checkmarks, red X's, the whole deal.
I've been digging into it, and while it's useful to have everything side-by-side, I'm trying to parse what's *real* differentiation vs. what's just marketing fluff. Some of the granular PAM controls for DevOps pipelines look genuinely compelling, especially the just-in-time access workflows. But I'm a bit skeptical about some of the "exclusive" checkmarks.
Has anyone else gone through this doc?
I'd love to compare notes on a few points:
* The "No Infrastructure Overhead" claim for their cloud offering. How does that actually play out vs. managing secrets in, say, Azure Key Vault or AWS Secrets Manager with a broker?
* The integration depth with CI/CD tools. The PDF lists a ton, but are they robust APIs or just basic connectors?
* The developer experience for local development. Is the CLI/IDE plugin actually smooth, or does it feel bolted on?
I'm leaning towards running a proof-of-concept, but wanted to see if the community's real-world experience matches the shiny PDF. The devil's always in the implementation details, right?
