Hey everyone. Just hit the 6-month mark after our sales ops team finished migrating our privileged access from CyberArk to Delinea. Overall, it's been a positive move for us, but wow, the first 90 days were rough. I wanted to share what specifically broke for us, in case it helps anyone else planning a similar switch.
The big surprise was how our automated prospecting scripts failed. They used service accounts vaulted in CyberArk, and the Delinea REST API handles credential retrieval differently. Our scripts would just time out. We also lost some session recording granularity we didn't realize we relied on for audit trails on shared sales engineering accounts. On the plus side, the user interface is much simpler for our reps to request access to things like Salesforce admin panels or market data tools. The cost savings were significant, which made the pain worth it for finance. Just plan for a longer testing phase on any automated process! 😊
