Hi everyone. I'm a junior cloud ops engineer at a manufacturing company. We're about to roll out new endpoint protection for around 200 users and shop floor workstations.
We're looking at Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. I've heard it integrates well with other Microsoft services, which we use heavily. But I'm curious about real-world use. For a similar-sized manufacturing environment, how does it handle legacy machines or isolated network segments? Also, how heavy is the management overhead for a small IT team? Any insights on the security baseline setup would be helpful.
