We had been using CyberArk for privileged access management for a few years. It worked, but it always felt heavy for our team's main use case: securing remote access for developers and support staff.
Recently, we switched to Google's BeyondCorp Enterprise for this specific remote access need. The main drivers were cost and simplicity. Has anyone else made a similar shift? I'm particularly curious about:
* How you handled the transition period for users
* Whether you kept CyberArk for any specific internal use cases after moving remote access
* Any unexpected challenges with the BeyondCorp model compared to the VPN+PAM approach
