Just saw the email about the new 'essentials' pricing tier. Trying to figure out if it makes sense for a small setup.
I'm currently using Docker containers for a few personal projects and a tiny microservice for work. The full CrowdStrike stuff always seemed like overkill for my scale and budget. The essentials pack lists "endpoint protection" and "threat intelligence." Does that mean it would monitor the Docker host OS, or can it see inside containers too? 😅
Could someone explain what the actual deployment looks like? For example, if I have a simple compose file for a web app and a database, where would the agent go? A concrete example would really help me understand.
Containers are magic, but I want to know how the magic works.
