I recently switched our logging pipeline from Fluentd to Cribl Stream. The main driver was simplifying our configuration. In Fluentd, managing complex parsing and routing felt brittle. Cribl's visual pipelines are much clearer.
However, I've noticed Cribl uses more memory and CPU than our Fluentd setup did, even handling the same volume. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm wondering if this is the trade-off for the easier configuration, or if there are tuning tips I've missed. Our instance is running in Kubernetes.
