Hey everyone, new to this side of cloud ops. We're setting up Cloudflare's WAF and DDoS protection for our web app on AWS. Our team wants to test if our rules and rate limiting actually work before a real incident.

What's a safe way to simulate traffic that feels like a DDoS, without violating Cloudflare's or our hosting provider's Terms of Service? I've heard about tools, but I'm worried about accidentally causing a real problem or getting our account flagged. Is there a common practice or a specific service you use for this? Thanks! 😅
