Currently managing a network shift for ~2000 remote users. We're on Cisco AnyConnect for VPN, but considering Cloudflare Zero Trust / WARP for its "Zero Trust" model. Need real-world operational feedback.
Key points for our case:
* Most users are on corporate-managed laptops (Win/macOS).
* Need access to internal web apps & a few on-prem servers.
* AnyConnect works, but user complaints about speed/connection drops are constant.
* Cloudflare's promise of faster, always-on connectivity is appealing.
My main concerns:
* **Deployment & Management:** Moving from ASA/ISE to Cloudflare dash. How steep is the learning curve for a team used to Cisco?
* **Client Experience:** Does WARP client actually stay connected more reliably than AnyConnect?
* **Non-HTTP Traffic:** We have some legacy TCP/UDP apps. Can WARP handle them with Cloudflare Tunnel, or is it a headache?
* **Cost at Scale:** Cloudflare's per-user pricing. Any gotchas after the first 50 free seats?
Looking for blunt pros/cons from anyone who's made a similar switch. Config snippets welcome.
