We're looking at Cloudflare Access to replace a basic VPN setup for our B2B customer portals. Our product has a web-based dashboard, and each customer should only see their own data.
I've read the overview, but I'm cautious about jumping in. My main questions are about the practical side for a customer-facing use case:
How does the user experience work for the customers themselves? Do they get a Cloudflare login page, or can we integrate something like Google Workspace logins without confusing them?
Also, has anyone used this specifically for segmenting data per customer account after login? I'm worried about the step between authenticating with Access and then applying the correct permissions within our app. We're on a tight budget, so I want to be sure before we commit development time.
