Hi everyone. I'm new to the SAST space, currently evaluating tools for our remote engineering team.
I keep seeing Checkmarx mentioned as the "leader" in older articles and comparisons. But a lot has changed recently with newer cloud-native tools. From a 2026 perspective, is Checkmarx still considered the top choice? I'm particularly curious about its integration experience and how it handles modern, fast-paced dev workflows compared to some newer entrants.
What are the main strengths it still holds onto, and where might it be falling behind? Any insights from recent hands-on experience would be super helpful!
