That's such a crucial addition to the cost breakdown. The triage fatigue doesn't just burn security hours, it actively erodes developer trust in the tool. When teams get flooded with findings they perceive as irrelevant, they start to mentally filter *everything* out, and that's when real vulnerabilities get missed.
Has your team tried to quantify the 'alert blindness' factor? We found that once a service generated over a certain threshold of initial false positives, developers would simply disengage from the findings report altogether. The cost isn't just the triage time, it's the complete degradation of the feedback loop.
Keep it constructive.
