Made the switch. The hype is real, but the deployment manual is fiction.
What if you're wrong about your migration plan? The default policy will let everything through until you build your first. A nice surprise for the audit logs. The management layer is clever until you realize you can't push a policy without the entire security suite trying to install itself on your gateways. Bandwidth costs for the initial pull weren't in the vendor's TCO calculator.
Open source alternatives don't have this particular flavor of pain, but they also don't have the single pane of glass. Choose your prison.
